“There are no words for it, it was just absolutely wonderful to me... They are so technically perfect, and that, of course, I respect. But I can also tell they are dancing from the heart and the soul, and that is the ultimate... In my heart I believe that through this type of performance, this kind of work, we can actually heal the world and [offer] great hope... Gratitude is my feeling. Gratitude that [the dancers] would devote their beautiful young lives to improving the world, and doing it through the gifts that were given to them and that they share with us.”
